Job Title: Commercial Sheet Metal Installer/Fabricator

As a Commercial Sheet Metal Installer/Fabricator at Sunstate Mechanical Services, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures, operating various tools and machinery, and installing, altering, and repairing sheet metal products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures based on blueprints and specifications
  • Operate various tools and machinery, including forklifts, welding equipment, and metalworking tools
  • Install, alter, and repair sheet metal products, equipment ducts, and hoods for HVAC systems
  • Perform stick welding and other welding techniques to join metal components
  • Teach apprentices and perform additional duties as required
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and motor vehicle history check
  • Must be able to speak English
  • Must have a basic understanding of HVAC items and be able to lift up to 30lbs
  • Must have a personal tool kit
