The Parking Services Representative is tasked with facilitating safe and efficient transportation for patients attending scheduled appointments at our medical facilities. This role includes managing parking transactions, assisting visitors and staff with vehicle-related inquiries, and providing valet services while ensuring accurate record-keeping for all activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors courteously, providing clear directions and support.
- Safely drive and park guest vehicles from designated areas, ensuring timely returns for pick-up.
- Adhere to all local traffic regulations while operating vehicles in a professional manner.
- Assist guests with mobility aids, ensuring their comfort and safety during transitions.
- Maintain thorough documentation of vehicle information and service requests.
- Ensure the condition of vehicles is preserved throughout the parking process.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain orderly traffic flow in parking areas.
- Respond to emergencies by directing vehicles and managing pedestrian traffic as necessary.
- Document and report any incidents or accidents that occur within the parking areas.
- Communicate effectively with security and supervisory staff regarding any issues.
- Transport patients between their homes and various departments as required.
- Complete daily logs for patient pickups and vehicle maintenance.
- Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained, addressing repairs and fuel needs promptly.
- Manage the flow of traffic at parking exits, ensuring smooth operations.
- Monitor parking equipment and troubleshoot any malfunctions.
- Verify cash deposits and enforce proper cash handling procedures.
- Coordinate with guest services to ensure availability of mobility aids.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas and adhere to safety protocols.
- Document any irregularities or incidents that deviate from standard operations.
- Provide customer service that is sensitive to the diverse needs of our patient population.
- Complete all required procedures at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure service consistency.
- Follow the standards outlined in the organization's competencies.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of driving experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bilingual capabilities.
- Experience in cash handling or cashier roles.
- Additional driving experience preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Driver's License from a recognized state.
