Position Overview:
As a key member of the finance team, the individual will be accountable for a variety of accounting tasks in alignment with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The role demands adherence to internal controls and compliance with the authority matrix pertinent to the assigned responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and perform account reconciliations in accordance with internal deadlines.
  • Execute intercompany accounting transactions, including reconciliations and confirmations.
  • Assist in GAAP and statutory audit activities, acting as a liaison with auditors.
  • Generate financial reports and related schedules.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct bank account reconciliations.
  • Support and/or manage various accounts receivable processes as part of the Order to Cash cycle.
  • Assist with accounts payable processes in conjunction with the Procure to Pay cycle.
  • Maintain and update Oracle FCC data, including uploads and account mapping.
  • Contribute to ERP testing and maintenance activities.
  • Produce financial reports, perform analyses, and respond to inquiries.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for process improvements.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution is required.
  • Prior internship or experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Process-oriented with the ability to work independently, focusing on accuracy and quality.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Experience in handling sensitive personal information discreetly and confidentially.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires frequent sitting, with occasional standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling. There may be occasional lifting of boxes and files weighing up to 50 lbs. Average vision and hearing capabilities are necessary.

Work Environment:
The position is based in an office environment associated with an assembly plant, with potential exposure to chemical compounds and fumes related to the manufacturing of electronic components.
