Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our team at Pratt Industries. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain forklifts in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Locate and retrieve stock accurately and efficiently, using warehouse management systems and other tools as needed.
  • Deliver stock to production areas safely and on time, minimizing delays and disruptions.
  • Remove finished goods from production areas and transport them to storage or shipping areas.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in forklift operation and warehouse logistics.

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
