Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Quality Control Supervisor is a key leader in the organization, responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, implement, and coordinate product and process control programs to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
• Monitor statistical techniques to control the quality output of the production process and forge a strong bond with shop floor personnel working towards shared quality goals and objectives.
• Hire, train, and manage the quality technician team for the site on both day shift and night shift, including approving timecards, approving personal time off, monitoring attendance, and conducting disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Drive root cause analysis arising from customer complaints and internal NCR, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions for defective product, including containment actions and NCR scrap reduction.
• Coordinate inspection and testing of product, processes, tools, and gages to determine conformance to standards, and audit and oversee the quality operator operations to improve line side inspection effectiveness.
• Analyze metrics regarding quality issues and trends, and prepare site quality performance reports for internal and external distribution.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing-related discipline.
• Working experience in an ISO 9001 environment, with experience in a deep draw or progressive die metal stamping environment preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills, knowledge of problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills to communicate with all levels of management and personnel.
• Ability to interpret prints and engineering instructions, and knowledge of geometric tolerance procedures and 4M inspection requirements preferred.
• Team player with a strong work ethic, self-motivated with enthusiasm and drive, and ability to work independently as needed.
• Reliable attendance on-site required, with the ability to work various shifts if needed to support a 24/7 operation.

Physical Requirements:
• Regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms, and regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel.
• Ability to communicate and listen, and occasionally required to walk or stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required to set up inspection equipment and perform inspections.
• Regularly work in an office environment with a moderate noise level, experiencing vibration on a regular basis, and occasionally may work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
