Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Splicer to join our team at Ervin Cable. As a Fiber Splicer, you will be responsible for the preparation and splicing of fiber optic cable within a telecommunications system.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and splice fiber optic cable to ensure high-quality connections.
  • Use OTDR and fusion splicing equipment to test and inspect fiber optic cables.
  • Read and interpret fiber matrices to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in fiber optic splicing and telecommunications.
  • Proficient in the use of OTDR and fusion splicing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret fiber matrices.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
