GAI Consultants is seeking a skilled Construction Technician to perform construction inspection on various Power Generation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in earthwork, foundation inspection, test boring inspection, and concrete testing.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret specifications and construction drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Evaluate site conditions based on soil and rock samples to identify potential issues.
- Monitor and report on construction activities to ensure timely completion.
- Perform field testing of soils and concrete to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Document field activities, observations, and testing results on projects.
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience with earthwork, foundation inspection, test boring inspection, and concrete testing.
- Experience with Nuclear Density Gauge Testing, ACI Grade 1 Certification, and OSHA 10-hour Training is desired.
- Ability to work independently or lead crews when necessary.
- Effective oral and written communication skills to interact with staff, clients, and field representatives.
