About the Role

As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and comprehensive patient care
  • Providing expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members and facilitating a culture of continuous learning
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and outcomes
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research to inform your care and stay ahead of the curve

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution (BSN or higher)
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
  • 1-3 years of critical care experience with a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient care
  • BCLS, ACLS, or PALS certification (or equivalent)
