Key Responsibilities- Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests, answering questions and making product recommendations to increase sales.
- Ensure the health and well-being of live animals by providing the correct care in accordance with established Petco standards and policies.
- Perform cashiering duties, including processing transactions and handling customer returns and exchanges.
- Assist in stocking and facing merchandise according to established standards, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Participate in the completion of quarterly and annual physical inventory counts, and adhere to established safety procedures and protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and pull 2000 pounds utilizing material handling equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
