We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at Bear Creek Senior Living, a premier assisted living and memory care provider in Colorado Springs, CO.
About the Role
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, following instructions, and maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Prepare and serve attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of basic food production skill sets
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar position
- Experience with special diets and meal preparation for large groups preferred
- Safe food handling techniques required
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Work in a team environment
- Work flexible shifts
