Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily safety meetings to ensure all personnel are aware of potential hazards and take necessary precautions.

  • Inspect power tools and heavy equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety compliance and provide guidance on safety best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of direct construction safety experience.
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction certification.
  • OSHA 510 certification.
  • Hazwoper 40 certification (a plus).
  • Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
