Seattle Radiology is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our radiologists in delivering high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist technologists with patient preparation, consenting, exams, and procedures.
- Obtain and review patient orders, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
- Acquire necessary documentation and information from referring providers, patients, and insurance plans to facilitate patient care.
- Schedule exams and clinic procedures, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Communicate effectively with patients, referring providers, and team members, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Process and handle patient information professionally and efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Medical Assistant license.
- IV therapy certification (preferred).
- Healthcare experience, with a preference for Radiology settings.
