Automotive Maintenance Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at The BarTech Group, Inc. as a contract employee. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of our client's automotive facility.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacturing Operations Management: Read and react to the daily manufacturing plan in real-time, ensuring seamless execution of production tasks.
- Task Management: Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, driving accountability through people and processes.
- Change Management: Demonstrate the ability to manage change and navigate ambiguity, making informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
- Leadership: Drive accountability through people and processes, which may require difficult conversations in a unionized environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate a high analytical ability to solve complex problems, conduct appropriate checks and tests, and communicate evaluation of results.
- Recommendations: Recommend solutions to problems, responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.
- Schedule and Quality Management: Meet schedule and quality requirements, comply with the terms of local and national labor agreements.
- Policy Implementation: Implement divisional and corporate policies and safety and good housekeeping practices.
- Collaboration: Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group.
- Resource Management: Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment.
- Project Management: Establish a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project.
- GMS Principles: Has knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles.
- Experience: One year of direct team supervisory experience.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints.
- Coordination and Leadership: Ability to coordinate, manage, address performance concerns, and lead people in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex problems and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage conflict and make decisions in an ambiguous fast-paced environment.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency (i.e., Microsoft Word, typing, email, etc.).
- Availability: Must be willing to work weekends and rotating shifts.
- Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Project Management: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Initiative: Willingness to ask questions, take initiative, and be resourceful.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Integrity: High level of integrity, ability to deal with ambiguity, self-directed.
