- Conducts physician evaluations in accordance with best practice standards and regulatory requirements, aiming for enhanced outcomes for members.
- Collaborates with healthcare providers and stakeholders to address clinical and medical issues, including patient placement and care coordination.
- Engages in quality assessments for specific member complaints and agency reviews.
- Represents medical affairs in clinical and administrative meetings as required.

Qualifications:
- Education: Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Licensure/Certification: Valid PA Licensure; Board Certification in Adult or Child Psychiatry
- Experience: At least 2 years of clinical psychiatry experience, particularly in inpatient care and substance abuse treatment.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Decisive and effective in decision-making
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Work Environment:
- Travel within the designated service area is required.
- Regular physical activities include walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
- Must be able to operate computers and office equipment to fulfill daily responsibilities.
- Work is typically performed indoors in well-lit and ventilated areas.
- Adaptability to changing job demands is essential.
