About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a New Grad RN, you will participate in a year-long residency program that is tailored to your individual needs and goals. You will work closely with a coach to develop your clinical skills, communication abilities, and leadership potential.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the J8-3 Cardiac VIP Unit
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care activities based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability
- Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients
- Respond to data indicating risk to individual's health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire
