Reporting to a senior leader within the Enterprise Technology Solutions division, you will engage with top technology executives to enhance our existing business and technological capabilities. Your responsibilities will include defining the technological vision for the Enterprise Payment and Billing Unit of a leading global corporation, setting the stage for industry-leading solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural oversight for devising business rules strategies and solutions tailored for contemporary Payment and Billing systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and product owners to grasp business needs and objectives, assisting in the extraction of business rules and decision modeling.
- Assess and analyze decision outcomes, collaborating with product owners to refine existing business rules to ensure they align with defined business goals and objectives.
- Lead the design and execution of business rules, ensuring their smooth integration with business operations and systems.
- Guarantee the coherence of decision models and business rules within comprehensive processes.
- Establish and implement robust frameworks and industry-leading practices for modeling, documenting, and analyzing business rules and processes.
- Exhibit strong thought leadership in the pursuit of modern architectural principles and technological advancement.
- Drive ongoing technological transformation to reduce technical liabilities.
- Evaluate current processes and systems to pinpoint opportunities for integrating business rules that support the Payment and Billing ecosystem.
- Ensure alignment between business processes and technical capabilities, adhering to the target state roadmap.
- Foster strong partnerships with engineering teams to ensure skill alignment with technological direction.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to formulate a cohesive approach to business rules and process implementations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 4 years in technology engineering.
- Experience in an agile operational framework.
- Proven track record in developing proof of concepts and technology solutions.
- Strong background in software engineering.
- Support for technology target states and roadmaps aligned with both short- and long-term business objectives.
- Experience in insurance technology is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale business rules implementations.
- Current knowledge of leading commercial Business Rules Engines.
- Solid understanding of value creation and business capability models.
- Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Passion for technology transformations.
- Hands-on experience within the last three years.
- Experience executing technology modernization initiatives, including cloud migration and API strategies.
- Familiarity with AWS, APIs, accelerators, and DevSecOps.
- Cloud Architecture Certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or substantial architectural experience in cloud environments.
- Good comprehension of security principles.
- Experience with large-scale technology platforms.

- A minimum of five years of experience in engineering software or analytical applications within a business domain.
