We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional - Inpatient Therapist to join our team. This role involves working with patients in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting, providing psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and facilitating groups daily.

About the Role
  • Provide psychosocial assessments of new patients and develop/update/reassess patient treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain contact with family members/significant others and provide education, support, and advocacy as needed
  • Coordinate and liaise with community-based social and mental health agencies to ensure seamless transitions
  • Facilitate discharge planning and conduct post-discharge follow-ups to reduce rehospitalization rates
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field; Licensure in Social Work (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, etc.)
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably with psychiatric experience
  • CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training certification
