Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience:
1-3 years in a relevant accounting role
Responsibilities Include:
- Review, analyze, and post journal entries to the general ledger.
- Maintain and reconcile cash accounts, including daily verification of deposits and payments.
- Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
- Manage and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed assets.
- Conduct inventory and sales analysis and reporting.
- Review, analyze, and record credit card transactions.
- Analyze Accounts Payable and Receivable reporting against sub ledger.
- Perform expense and variance analysis against budget/prior year.
- Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Provide assistance to external auditors by gathering necessary account information and documents for annual audits.
- File sales and other taxes for various states.
- Undertake ad hoc reporting, analysis, and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
