Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Attendant II to join our team at the County of Los Angeles, CA. As a Nursing Attendant II, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed.
• Assist patients with daily activities, such as eating, brushing teeth, and using the bathroom.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.

Requirements:

• Six months of experience as a Nursing Attendant/Nursing Assistant in a ward or clinic.
• Completion of a training assignment or a training program recognized by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) in Nursing Attendant work.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) issued by the American Heart Association.

Working Conditions:

• This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent heavy lifting, bending, and twisting.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
