Job Title: Exercise Physiology Professor

We are seeking a highly motivated Exercise Physiology tenure-track faculty member to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong record of research productivity, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and/or grant funding, or potential for extramural funding.

The Department of Exercise Physiology is committed to conducting groundbreaking research that translates fundamental scientific discoveries into clinically applicable strategies for promoting healthy aging across the lifespan and/or health and performance benefits of exercise.

The successful candidate will have expertise in relevant areas related to healthy aging and exercise performance across the lifespan, such as muscular physiology, cardiovascular health, metabolism, or neuromuscular physiology.

Responsibilities include conducting independent and collaborative research, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, contributing to the department's teaching mission, and serving on department, college, and university committees.

The College of Health Sciences and Professions, including the Department of Exercise Physiology, is a vibrant community of researchers and scholars.

The mission of the Department of Exercise Physiology is to develop high-quality exercise professionals who utilize evidence-based practice to promote physically active lifestyles, treat disease, and enhance performance.
