Banquet Houseman

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseman to join our team at the Westin Dallas Stonebriar Golf Resort & Spa. As a Banquet Houseman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events and conferences.

• Assist the Banquet Manager in preparing for events and conferences, ensuring that all meeting rooms are set up to the highest standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Set up and break down meeting rooms, including transporting equipment and materials as needed.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in meeting rooms.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials, up to 100 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
