Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Omni Hotels. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, associates, and resort property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Patrols: Conduct regular security patrols of the hotel premises, including restaurants, lobby areas, meeting spaces, parking areas, guest floors, executive offices, and back-of-house areas.
  • Emergency Response: Respond immediately to emergency incidents and security requests, ensuring the safety and security of guests, associates, and resort property.
  • Security Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, including reports and documentation as required.
  • Associate Support: Provide support and assistance to associates as needed, including escorting guests to their rooms and providing information and directions.
  • Package Control: Monitor and control the receipt and delivery of packages, including inspecting parcels and confiscating unauthorized items.
  • Security of the Receiving Dock: Monitor the security of the receiving dock and assist with shipping and receiving of packages and deliveries.
  • Clerical Support: Provide clerical support to the Loss Prevention Department, including filing, processing work orders, ordering supplies, and maintaining schedules.
Requirements
  • Previous Security Experience: Previous security experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
  • Red Cross and First Aid Certification: Red Cross and First Aid certification is required.
  • Availability: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
