We are seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our team at the University of New Mexico. As a Neuropsychology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert neuropsychological consultation and evaluations to patients, including clinical interviewing, administering, scoring, and interpreting test results, as well as providing feedback and test report preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Neuropsychological Consultation and Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, including clinical interviewing, administering, scoring, and interpreting test results, to provide accurate and reliable assessments of cognitive and behavioral functioning.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Conduct Research and Present Findings: Participate in research studies and present findings at professional conferences and workshops to advance the field of neuropsychology.
- Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train staff members, including interns and postdoctoral fellows, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality neuropsychological services.
- Doctoral Degree in Psychology: Earned doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program.
- APA Accreditation: Graduated from an APA-accredited program in psychology or neuropsychology.
- Licensed Psychologist: Licensed psychologist in the state of New Mexico.
- CPR and BLS Certification: Current CPR and BLS certification.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate complex information to patients and families, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
