Job Summary

Job Description

As a Laboratory Technician at Nidec, you will play a crucial role in supporting our laboratory environment. Your responsibilities will include:
• Setting up, configuring, and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Following established protocols and checklists to operate equipment and mix chemical solutions for testing purposes
• Conducting routine biological or chemical analytical tests according to standard procedures
• Compiling research data, operating records, and reports of test results
• Managing stocks of materials and chemical agents to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment
• Performing safety program checks and preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments

Level: An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typically include:
• Working under moderate supervision
• Addressing problems that are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures
• Communicating information that requires some explanation or interpretation
