Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • The Accounts Payable Specialist will oversee the entire accounts payable cycle, from invoice matching and coding to posting and check issuance.
    • Process approximately 150 invoices each week.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, ensuring accurate verification, allocation, and posting of business transactions into subsidiary accounts and the general ledger.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations as part of the monthly closing process.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
Qualifications sought in an Accounts Payable Specialist:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable.
  • Possession of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel is highly valued.
  • A collaborative spirit and a positive attitude are essential.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000, based on experience. This position requires full on-site presence.
