About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at BAE Systems USA. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, and modules using samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists, and diagrams. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure quality products are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, and modules by working from samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists, and diagrams.
  • Perform electronic and mechanical assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, high value torqueing, and extensive attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members and engineering team to produce quality products.
  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify various production subassemblies by following work plans.
  • Inspect results to ensure conformance to IPC-610 standards.

Requirements
  • Read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience working with large complex builds.
  • Ability to become solder certified.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
