Powder Coat Technician

We are seeking a skilled Powder Coat Technician to join our team at Plascore. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating the Powder Coat System and Dip Tanks to meet production schedules efficiently.

• Start up the paint line and related equipment at the beginning of the shift.
• Measure concentrations of chemical tanks and maintain daily logs.
• Verify correct quality, color, and material usage.
• Review schedules and prioritize work orders accordingly.
• Assist in staging materials for production and follow process specifications.
• Clean up scrap, cardboard, and skids, and maintain proper levels of materials and supplies.
• Make disposition of rejected materials and maintain constant communication with team members.
• Load and unload baskets for dip tank systems and rotate powder material FIFO.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and advise supervisors of needed repairs.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including DMNs.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of previous powder coat experience required.
• Solid math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work overtime and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
