About the Role

SunEnergy1 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Project Manager to lead our construction projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and manage project schedules, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including superintendents, electrical foremen, mechanical foremen, and construction crews.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control teams to verify the quality of all jobs completed and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, including subcontractors, and ensure that they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Financial Management: Review and approve invoices from vendors and ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including customers, engineers, and other departments within SunEnergy1.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a primary leadership role, preferably in the construction or solar industry.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and customer service skills, good judgment and analytical skills, ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously, and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Leadership Training: Formal leadership and process management training.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of solar systems and/or power generation and distribution.
