Job Description

The Director of Activities (Life Enrichment) is a pivotal role in promoting a culture of compassion, integrity, excellence, inclusion, and teamwork at Madonna Manor. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and developing the overall operations of the Wellness Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements programs and budgets for the Wellness Department.
  • Promotes resident engagement through diverse activities seven days a week.
  • Maintains current knowledge of facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Overses staffing by conducting interviews, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising employees.
Requirements

To be successful as a Director of Activities (Life Enrichment), you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation (CTRS) or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in social or recreational programs within long-term care settings.
