As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our EHS strategy and ensuring the highest standards of safety and sustainability across our global operations.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Sr Director of Global EHS to lead our EHS programs and teams. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS strategies, managing global EHS programs, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global EHS strategy aligned with our company's vision, mission, and values.
  • Lead the EHS team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to integrate EHS objectives into our overall business strategy.
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve global EHS policies, programs, and practices.
  • Ensure all operations comply with international, national, and local EHS regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics and implement corrective actions across the organization as needed.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce environmental impact and promote resource conservation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in EHS management system related functions and administration, within the chemical, metal finishing, semiconductor or similar industry.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role within a global organization.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS strategies and programs.
  • Expertise in 8D methodology.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
