Key Responsibilities:Your role will include:
- Completing the assembly of heavy machinery components using various hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.
- Unpacking, installing, and removing parts of machinery as required.
- Operating equipment, including maneuvering, tilting, and adjusting attachments to ensure proper assembly.
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics for assembly tasks.
- Adhering to OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience operating different types of heavy machinery, including forklifts and overhead cranes.
- The ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems related to construction and agricultural machinery.
- Physical capability to handle tools, including sledgehammers and power tools, while withstanding vibrations.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs overhead and work at heights of up to 15 feet.
- Capability to maintain a full workday of walking and standing in various weather conditions.
- Steel-toed footwear and a valid driver's license.
This position is based in a professional shop and yard setting.
Employees may frequently encounter outdoor elements such as dust, rain, and chemicals during the operation of machinery, including construction and agricultural equipment.
