Asphalt Mixture Designer

Ergon Asphalt and Emulsions, Inc. is a leading provider of asphalt solutions in the US.

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Mixture Designer to join our team at our Richland, MS location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating asphalt and component materials for specification compliance and product development/enhancement for bituminous materials primarily utilized in the asphalt paving industry.

This role directly supports our mission to lead the market by innovating and enhancing product quality and compliance.

• Create and evaluate hot mix, cold mix, and pavement preservation mixture designs and physical properties of construction materials.
• Perform routine construction materials testing in the field and laboratory settings.
• Develop expertise in chip seals, slurry seals, micro-surfacing, and other pavement preservation applications.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
