About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Services Director to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our surgical services department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance the overall quality of care.
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical and operational best practices, incorporating evidence-based solutions into our department.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a surgical services or healthcare administration setting.
  • Proven track record of success in improving patient outcomes, reducing costs, and enhancing quality of care.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
