Critical Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Hospital Sisters Health System. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to our sickest and most vulnerable patients, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver excellent patient experiences and outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication administration.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
- Bachelor's of science in nursing preferred.
- Critical Care Nursing experience preferred.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required based on patient population.
- Speciality certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
