We are seeking a highly skilled Inpatient Hospitalist- Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at Piedmont Augusta. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians to deliver exceptional medical services.
Responsibilities- Collect and document patient data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and order laboratory studies and professional consultations.
- Provide direct patient care services, including health promotion and acute and chronic disease management.
- Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing, or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with a current license for the Georgia State Composite Board.
- Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia or Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP). Updated NCCPA certification for PAs. BLS and ACLS required.
