Key Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and arterial punctures with precision and accuracy
  • Collect and process blood samples for laboratory testing
  • Enter patient information and test orders into the laboratory information system (LIS)
  • Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure accurate billing and testing
  • Stock phlebotomy stations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective testing processes
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues
Requirements
  • Completion of a certified phlebotomy program
  • At least 5 years of experience in phlebotomy or laboratory functions
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
