We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Psychiatry Specialist to join our team at the Nemours Foundation.

Job Overview

The selected candidate will provide specialized nursing care to patients and their families in ambulatory and outpatient settings, focusing on psychiatry and developmental medicine. This role requires a strong understanding of growth and development, pathophysiology, and family dynamics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient progress, revising the interdisciplinary plan of care as needed.
  • Identify patient/family needs for further resources and initiate appropriate teaching and/or referrals.
  • Participate in responding to patient phone calls, explaining treatment regimens after discussion with physicians.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, sharing clinical knowledge and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • Active Delaware Registered Nurse licensure, with additional state licensure as required.
  • At least three years of related clinical experience.
  • Prior pediatric nursing experience is necessary; developmental pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The Nemours Foundation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
