Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Goodyear, Arizona. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Work with customers to resolve quality-related issues and ensure their needs are met.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality is integrated into all aspects of product development and production.
  • Quality Metrics: Own and manage quality metrics, including defect rates, customer satisfaction scores, and other key performance indicators.
  • Process Control: Develop and implement process control plans to ensure consistency and quality in production.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to production staff on quality-related topics, including lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other continuous improvement initiatives to drive process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of quality work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Knowledge of quality management systems, lean manufacturing principles, and statistical process control. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASQ Certifications: Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, or Certified Quality Engineer.
  • Functional AutoCAD skills and geometric tolerancing.
