Aeronautical Data Subject Matter Expert

At Jacobs, we're seeking a highly skilled Aeronautical Data Subject Matter Expert to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide operational and aeronautical domain expertise in support of our projects and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to assigned programs/projects
  • Interface with customer representatives to understand complex systems requirements
  • Translate complex systems requirements to developers and software engineers
  • Participate in evaluation and assessment of Mission Planning products
  • Prepare and present technical briefings to customer management and staff
  • Investigate data aeronautical issues
  • Automate manual data tasks
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and at least fourteen (14) years related experience, or BS degree from an accredited school and at least eight (8) years of related experience, or a MS degree from an accredited school and at least seven (7) years of related experience
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft, weapons, mission planning and service and joint air operations
  • Knowledge of DAFIF, ARINC-424 or similar aeronautical data specifications
  • Experience with Helicopter and/or fixed wing flight and operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Clearance:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Work Environment:

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task
