Nurse Practitioner

Asbury Communities is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Asbury Solomons, a nationally accredited waterfront community in Southern Maryland.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide individualized care to our residents, meeting their physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining and transcribing written and telephone orders, notifying physicians and responsible parties of changes in resident status, and providing leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs.

• Provide individualized care to residents, meeting their physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs.
• Obtain and transcribe written and telephone orders, ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
• Notify physicians and responsible parties of changes in resident status.
• Provide leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs, ensuring all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.
• Complete all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessments.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as needed.

• Minimum of two years experience in medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatrics nursing, or significant medical/surgical clinical experience during schooling.
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR Certification.
