Job Summary

At Advanced Radiology Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, collect signatures, and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide world-class customer service to patients, guests, and colleagues, demonstrating effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect.
  • Administrative Tasks: Collect and log all co-pays and fees, answer and transfer incoming phone calls, schedule, reschedule, or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments, and notify staff of changes when necessary.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients, provide patients with appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and give directions to facilities if needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong multitasking and communication skills, experience providing exceptional customer service, and medical terminology knowledge
  • Preferred Qualifications: Recent medical/radiology office experience
Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range: USD $22.00 per hour

Shift: Mornings

Shift Variations: Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm with monthly Saturday rotations
