Job Description

Stratum Networks, a leading provider of information assurance and cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to support our client in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

This is a challenging role that requires a strong technical background, expertise in enterprise IT services, and excellent leadership skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employees engaged in providing information system solutions and technical support in one or more functional areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage teams responsible for user account management, tier 2 remote support, COE remote support, TPAM support, problem management, and escalation.
  • Approve ServiceNow tickets for requests from Operations employees.
  • Monitor SLAs and adjust team posture to improve performance.
  • Work with the Program Management Office to resolve operational and customer impacting issues.
  • Provide backup coverage for the Operations Framework Director.
Requirements:
  • Twenty years of experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, strategic planning, and project management.
  • Senior-level management experience.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in enterprise IT services.
