Position Overview
All Around Children is seeking a dedicated Custodial Support Specialist to maintain our state-of-the-art childcare and preschool facility.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for children and staff. Your duties will include:

  • Executing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules across various areas including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
  • Performing general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
  • Sanitizing common areas to promote health and safety.
  • Managing routine waste disposal and inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents through effective communication.
  • Participating in professional development and training sessions.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Capability to pass a background check.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance is advantageous.

Work Environment
This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a dynamic environment.
