Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Algorithm Engineer, Application Integration to join our team at ZF Active Safety and Electronics US LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced algorithms for our AEB and Steering systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new algorithms to enhance function capabilities using Matlab, Simulink, TargetLink, and C-Code.
  • Analyze safety function requirements and review NHTSA safety system proposals.
  • Participate in change control boards to discuss and review proposed software changes.
  • Conduct software testing, including simulation and real vehicle tests.
  • Work with various tools and technologies, including CarMaker, Gogeta, and Vector CAN interfaces.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in function development, algorithm development, or related occupations.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile software development, Radar, camera, and ESC technology, and Model based development of safety functions.
  • Strong knowledge of C, Python, Matlab, Simulink, TargetLink, and CarMaker.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
