Position Overview

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to assist individuals with Autism and related developmental challenges in various environments, including home, educational institutions, and community settings.

This role involves close collaboration with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to execute tailored treatment strategies aimed at enhancing the client's ability to function independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to clients.
  • Provide services across home, school, and community settings.
  • Engage effectively with families and children from diverse backgrounds.
  • Document and analyze data pertinent to individual behavior plans.
  • Complete daily session notes to track progress.
  • Maintain communication with caregivers and other support personnel.
  • Collaborate consistently with the BCBA.
  • Participate in supervision meetings with the BCBA.
  • Contribute to the development of treatment programs.
  • Undertake additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: A High School diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree or progress towards one is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience with children with developmental disabilities is advantageous. Experience in teaching, tutoring, or applied behavior analysis is preferred, with at least one year of relevant experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Personal Attributes: Energetic and outgoing personality, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective time management is essential.
