Job Title: Recreation Therapist

Foundations for Living, a leading mental health organization, is seeking a Recreation Therapist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned programs, defining treatment goals, and providing continuous patient care within a supportive and responsive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity services that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to define and implement treatment goals
  • Provide individualized patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field
  • One year of experience in recreation therapy or a related field, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques
  • Certification or licensure in recreation therapy or a related field
  • Current CPR Certification and First Aid certifications
