Position Summary:

The Financial Analyst is a vital member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, tasked with the essential role of supporting the creation of precise, comparable, and timely financial reports and operational planning models. This position is crucial for aiding management in making informed decisions across various organizational levels and involves providing insightful recommendations and analyses on both strategic and operational matters. The Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure comprehensive financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting packages for senior management and key stakeholders. Analyze and maintain supporting schedules that underlie the financial data presented. Ensure consistency and accuracy in standardized reporting across the organization.
  • Support the development of financial plans by monitoring key components and assisting in data collection phases. Act as the primary data collector for financial models, ensuring alignment with historical data and forecasts.
  • Compile and publish key performance metrics to enhance transparency and monitor strategic initiatives across the business.
  • Alert finance and accounting leadership to any discrepancies in financial oversight.
  • Research and monitor technical accounting treatments to ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving, automating, and scaling reporting tools and methodologies.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reporting packages to facilitate forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Provide analytical support for operational and strategic decision-making, assisting in due diligence processes and market trend analysis.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Revenue Cycle Management, Accounting, or Budget Analysis.
  • Proficient in financial and budget modeling for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector, with an understanding of financial trends in this industry.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and related modeling functions.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong attention to detail.
