Responsibilities- Implement and Monitor Patient Care Plans
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide Direct Patient Care
- Assess and evaluate patient needs, providing direct care and interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the Healthcare Team
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
- Document Patient Information
- Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Education and Experience
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of 2.5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Certifications and Licenses
- Active RN license in good standing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
