As a Data Standards Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the LANDMARK AOS program, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of data distribution solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise
    • Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of data distribution solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy data-intensive applications using modern data-centric enabling technologies, cloud computing, and virtualization architecture.
    • Optimize the management of data across nodes and the performance of distribution, search, and retrieval.
  • Systems Engineering
    • Support systems engineering activities across the program life-cycle, including the evaluation of current and future architecture, software integration, and assessment of products, services, and platform providers.
    • Design, plan, and integrate data-intensive application frameworks using modern data-centric enabling technologies, cloud computing, and virtualization architecture.
  • Project Management
    • Orchestrate cloud migrations and new system integrations seamlessly, utilizing project management skills to ensure timely and successful delivery.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, stakeholders, and program leadership.
    • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clear understanding and alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years or more experience; Master's degree and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Experience directly supporting data architecture and solution efforts, with a demonstrated understanding of Systems Engineering and Acquisition processes.
  • Familiarity with computing and operating systems (OS), on-premises hardware, and cloud computing platforms, such as Linux, Windows, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Project management skills to orchestrate cloud migrations and new system integrations seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies.
  • Strong customer service skills, teaming skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities.
