We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telemetry Nurse to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Alexandria, LA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Telemetry Unit, utilizing advanced technological devices to monitor and interpret patient data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve shared goals.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient situations.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the State of practice.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a clinical setting.
  • Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
  • AHA BLS certification within 2 weeks of employment.
  • ACLS certification within 8 weeks of employment.
  • Arrhythmia Recognition Course within 8 weeks of employment.
